West End
A simply lovely part of Edinburgh. Just off the busier city centre of Princes Street and not as far as Haymarket you have an abundance of boutiques, speciality shops, bars, restaurants and of course some coffee shops. Parking may well be near impossible, but it is worth a stroll around.
Another little thing we wanted to add when covering the West End, New Town and Old Town of Edinburgh is what is what. There is always some debate about what area is where. Confused…don’t be, here is our map. Basically, the West end is west of Lothian Rd and Queensferry St/Rd.
As usual, we’ll be adding to the lists, but to start with here are some of the coffee shops we have come across and/or have been recommended to us.
